At Sunlight Ministries we believe that prayer and thanksgiving are key elements to our relationship with God.
We are thankful because he chose us and gives us life and hope every day. I find myself thanking Him in the middle of the night, when I wake up, during the day and before I go to sleep. It is an attitude and a way of life. Prayer and thanksgiving are closely linked, it shows our reliance on Him and appreciation for what He does for us each and every day!
We pray because we need Him! He knows we need Him and He expects us to ask Him for the things we need. He also desires to bless our initiatives and cover us and our loved ones despite our faults, all we need to do is ask!

Dear Jesus, please forgive me of my sins and cleanse me of unrighteousness. Thank you for all your many Blessings. Holy is your Name which is above all Names. Please Jesus, King above all Kings, Prince of Peace, in your Precious and Holy Name, please deliver my teen daughter Sarah from evil, demonic influences and return her to the sound mind she had at Christmas. Please awaken her spirit to your Love and the Light of the Holy Spirit. I pray she will cross paths with Believers and Influencers that will reflect Your Love and draw her into your Saving Grace and a personal relationship with You. Please dispatch Your Heavenly Host around her as a hedge of protection from evil. I pray that all demons attacking her will be bound and cast out of Sarah, Your child, to wherever Jesus sends them, never to return and that the void will be replaced with your Perfect Peace in the Holy Spirit. Please have mercy and soften her heart and let her soul feel Your Love & the Light of your Spirit through the Precious Sacrifice and shedding of your Blood for all mankind's sin on the cross. Thank you Jesus for dying on the Cross for all our sins and for giving us Hope in Eternal Life in Heaven. I ask this in the Precious and Holy Name of Jesus. Amen.Amy C.
